DPASHA SOFTWARE LICENSE:

1) GRANT OF LICENSE:

PAEHL grants you a single, non-exclusive license to use the DPASHA provided you agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement. Only one user is authorized to use the DPASHA on one computer at a time (and not by more than one individual via a network).

2) OTHER RESTRICTIONS:

You acknowledge that you do not become the owner of the DPASHA (software, programs and/or documentation). You agree not to transfer, rent,lease, sub-license, reverse engineer, modify, translate, or share the DPASHA, diskettes, or manual with any other person or firm.

While we have attempted to ensure the reliability of the DPASHA, PAEHL cannot assume any liability for damage that occurs because of usage of this program, whether or not in accordance with the instructions or specifications. It is not possible to guarantee the program's performance under all circumstances, at all times, with all hardware and software configurations, and with any user data, programs, or series of commands. PAEHL warrants the diskette media and manual to be free from defects in materials or manufacture for a period of 30 days from your receipt. When you open this package or use the DPASHA you indicate you accept this as the only warranty. You agree that regardless of the form of any claim, PAEHL's liability for any damages or loss to you or anyone else shall not exceed the price paid for use of the program. NO OTHER WARRANTIES. Except for the warranty described in the above paragraph, there are no warranties expressed or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and all such warranties are expressly and specifically disclaimed.

4) NO LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES:

In no event shall PAEHL or its suppliers, if any, be responsible for any special, incidental or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for lost profits, business interruption, loss of information, or any other loss) arising out of the use or the inability to use this product, even if PAEHL has been advised of the possibility of such damage. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

...multiple hash types, paste from the clipboard, browse for file and click-to-compare. Very well done!

tool for check sum calculation / verification

I was looking arround for a tool to calculate a SHA256.
After a while I found this one......great one.
Was exactly that's what I needed. A tool easy to use, downsized to the basic
functionality of calculating check sums (much more then only SHA256).....that's what developers want.

Perfect!

I needed this program as a demo for a presentation about encryption and I must say; I'm very happy with this piece of software. It totally fits my needs and it does some great work!

Simple and accurate hashing program

It took less than a minute to download and install and it immediately helped us to figure out the correct hash for a certificate we were looking at. If you need a hashing program, I highly recommend this one.

Some suggest.

It is good for creating a single HASH.But I think it has many agarithms such as MD4,MD5,SHA1,SHA-256,etc.It is a bit complex.I suggest that it can be simplified with only SHA agarithm,for SHA is more secure than MD5.

Great tool. Would like a multi-file feature.

DPASHA is a great tool for generating/verifying hash functions of a single file. A feature I'd like to see is a capability to process multiple files.

Review of DPASHA

The program is small and works perfect. It's very useful for checking SHA1 for downloaded linux distributions.
